Prices subject to change without notice. Scrap markets move daily and posted rates are indicative, not an offer. Final classification, weight and payout are determined at the scale after inspection. Before you load

What we can’t take

  • Glass, ceramics and mirrors
  • Household garbage and food waste
  • Tires (on or off the rim)
  • Sealed or pressurized tanks
  • Anything containing asbestos
  • Appliances with un-tagged refrigerant

Job-site and demolition waste isn’t bought at the scale — but we will haul it in a roll-off container.

See the full list — or call (828) 586-8900 before you load it.

How it works

In and out in fifteen minutes

  1. Estimate before you load

Run your material through the estimator so you know roughly what the trip is worth. Sort copper from brass and clean steel from light iron — it moves grades and it moves money.

  2. Pull onto the scale

Drive in loaded and stop on the certified scale. Bring a valid photo ID; state law requires it on every transaction, and a title or bill of sale for vehicles.

  3. We grade it with you

Material is inspected and classified in front of you. If something grades lower than you expected, you will hear why before anything is weighed off.

  4. Weigh out and get paid

Empty weight off, net weight priced at the posted rate, and you are paid before you leave the yard.
